Brad’s practice is focused on tax planning for business entities and their owners. He assists his clients in selecting the right entity for operating the business whether it be a limited liability company (“LLC”), corporation (“C Corp” or “S Corp”) or partnership (“general” or “limited”). Brad provides tax advice and guidance as to the operations and transactions of the entity, including compensation, deferred compensation and retirement plans. Brad assists the owners of closely-held businesses develop and implement succession and exit planning strategies. He also advises his clients regarding the selection of estate planning strategies that achieve each client’s unique goals as well as be tax efficient.

Brad is a recognized expert in tax and estate planning for pension plan benefits and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs). He is a frequent lecturer to various professional groups on the rules affecting distributions from qualified plans and IRAs, and the most effective strategies for transferring these unique assets to surviving spouses and the IRA owner’s children.
